To kick-offthe 1981
Supercross series, Team Suzuki
rider Kent Howerton blasted his
new 1981 RM-250 "full-floater"
to the checkered flag before a
packed Anaheim Stadium.
Kent and Suzuki teammate
Mark Barnett battled for the
lead for most of the race, with
Kent edging Mark out by a
narrow 3 feet at the finish line.
The Stadium was rocking with
excitement!
Great riding, guys. You and
those Suzukis are really rolling.
