our annual date away from us.
Their excuse: They wanted to work
with Sean Point (pavement race), and
they also gave Aggie a conflicting date
injuly.
Our contention at that time was the
fact that we had established our date,
were loyal AMA promoten (Sears
Point was promoting AFM against our
AMA date), that Aggie's. date at
Sacrammto would be under «fire"
every year with the horsnnen pulling
the strings. Now it has aU come home

to J'OOlIt.
Wt told AMA that this would
happen. and tbey scoffed at us.
AMA, in past yean, has done more
to hun professional racing then anyoneelst,
But what good does it do me or
anyone else to say I told you so? The
harm is done, and things will never be
