When Team Honda's Andre Malherbe won the World Championship, it was a shining moment.
Meanwhile in America, the outlook was just as bright.
In the next to the last round of the AMA 500cc National Championship MX Series, Chuck
Sun was in an enviable position.
Number one.
So he did what anyone in his position would do. He stayed that way.
In the first moto, he cranked open the throttle of his extraordinary RC450,
specially prepped, tuned and coddled by master wrench Eric Crippa, and finished
14 seconds ahead of the pack.
.
Number one.
Honda's Number One.
In the second moto, he blasted off again and let his works Honda with its
incredible Pro-Link™ suspension and mountains of power go to town.
You guessed it.
Number one.
We'd like to take this moment to offer our warmest
congratulations to the new National Champion in the
500cc class, Chuck Sun.
And the next time we tell you that Honda
makes the finest motorcycles under the Sun, you'll
know exactly what we mean.
Honda's Number One Sun.
Honda's Number One Sun.
