The 1980 250cc World ' Motocross title goes to Team Suzuki rider Georges Jobe (pronounced George Jobay). At 19 years old, Georges becomes the youngest rider ever to capture a wortd motocross title. And despite a broken arm mid-season, Suzuki rider Hany Everts came back to successfully clinch his second 125cc world title in two years.
