Don looked good on the new bike and
he led Doug Bowers who took fourth.
The second moto fell into Jackson's
hands once again and this gave him
two perfect scores. Dymond stationed
himself in second again but a real
battle was going on for the third place
spot. Griewe led for most of the race
but on the ninth lap Bowers made his
move and slid on by for third. Overall
it was Jackson . Dymond, Bowers and
Don Griewe.
For the most pan Larry Gross led
the 250cc Beginner division one class.
But as it turned out rival Frank Stouff
too k the overall win . Gross led the first
round of action completely and didn't
have to worry too much . Stouff had an
easy second place win ahead of Don
Doull . The turnabout came in the
second rnoto . A lthough G ross was in
the lea d most of the time Stouff passed
h im with only a co u ple of la ps to go .
O ver a ll it was Sto u ff , G ross. Doull and
Rob e rt Campbell.
