The all-new Alpinestars SM5 motocross
helmet has a lightweight outer shell
constructed from multi-layered
impact-resistant thermoplastic. The
five-density EPS liner further enhances
impact protection and a padded raised
area at the helmet's opening reduces
forces transmitted to the collarbone.
The peak is engineered to release in a
crash and hydration-tube channels are
integrated into the cheekpads, which
can be removed while the helmet is
still on by first responders.
