The recent AMA Board of Trustees meeting saw th e Trustees reject several rule ch anges that were recommended by the recen tly form ed Professional Ra cing Board. The PRB 's recommendation to restore the cla iming ru le to both motocross and, fla t track was turned down by the Board as was a recommendation for restricto rs to be requi red on Expe rts . fla t track bikes in 1981. The Board did vote "yes" on restrictors beginning in 1982. Kelly Wendeln sent in a correction to his letter published in eN issue #21. The Congressional Record he mentioned as his information source was the Dec. 12 issue. not Dec. 20 as published in Voices.
