o 00 0') ....-c In one of the toughest two-wheel tests of both man and machine, the Ontario Six-Hour Classic endurance race,Team Honda pulled through with flying colors: The black and white winner's flag. From the third lap on, the only time the rest of the 88-entry field didn't see red, was when the #97 works Honda was in for pitstops. The rest ofthe day Ron Pierce and Fast Freddie" Spencer not only ran ovals around the competition at the big "0" track, but did it in record-making fashion. Their CB750F-based rocket zipped through a never-before done grueling 158 laps. Which, any way you look at it, is a very fast game of follow the leader. And that's official! II 29
