Well, race fans, it looks like
the Kawasaki Boys made
another clean getaway. Only
this time it was at the AMA
Superbike Championship
race at Alabama International
Motor Speedway on April 14.
.In a 160mph romp against
full factory teams from
Suzuki and Honda, KZ1000
riders Eddie Lawson and
Dave Aldana ran off and hid
with first and second place.
For young Lawson, a dirt
'\\ tracker turned asphalt eater,
~"\ it was his first big National
win. A dramatic last lap
victory <;)Ver teammate Aldana,
the early leader.
And the moral to.this
story? If you're out to grab a
little glory for yourself, you
better be riding a Kawasaki.
Otherwise, you might as
well stay home and watch
television.
