Crosby wins come-from- behind

New Zealander Graeme Crosby rode his Yoshimura Suzuki from the back of the Bell Superbike 100 starting grid to the head of the field to

In the second of two qualifying
heats run the previous afternoon,
Yoshimura teammates David Aldana
and Crosby had crossed the finish line
1-2. but both turned into the pit lane.

to Crosby's chagrin both he and Aldana
were relegated to the bad of the second ,
wave by AMA officials. "Every other
place I've ever run. the fmish line is
the bloody line! I must say I'm not too
impressed with the organization here."
said Crosby.
