Can-Am would like to introduce you to a different kind of 125.
Our new MX-6 125.
It isn't another screamer. Its
powerband is far fatter and flatter
than the competition. It's built
to get you off the line quicker, haul
you aut of slow corners faster.
And shave time off your laps by
saving you shifts.
In other words, it's an honestto-goodness 125 torquer. With 14 ft
lbs of it lurking in the rear wheel
at 8750 rpm. Along with 24 horse-
power at a relaxing 9500 rpm.
For years, 125 engine design has
been heading in the opposite
direction. Revs have gone higher
and higher. Relative torque
output has gone down, And 50 has

The answer has always been
the rotary valve with its positive
and efficient intake. But it
took Can-Am and
our Rota~ engine division
to make It work. And
put it in a beautiful handling bike that is one
of the lowest riding longtravel 125's on the track.
