t ....a N.~.da-So.t"era Call up our bikes. All classes staned in the same race with one minute intervals between divisions. Fony-five minutes and six laps later, it was all over with aI¥i finished. Marshall Jennings of the Masters division took the lead and really did some fine riding. Despite going down on the pavement (ouchl), Marshall quickly recovered and held his lead to fmish first. Ray Sanchez held that throttle tightly all the way for the entire six laps and came into a well won second place. Chuck Woody's four stroke Yamaha flew over the pavement to take a good third. Coming in fourth was Marv Olsen and his tempermental Maico that just didn't want to start when it should have. In the Expert division it was Earl Nichols blasting into the lead. Earl kept high gear all the way to win. Bob Berdyke and his CZ were perfect for this track, and he took a well deserved second place. Third place win belonged to Dick Mosley. Jun Cooke and his Suzuki were a good match for each other in the Amateur division as he proudly came up with first place. Bob De Miranda got his Maico past enough riders to qualify as second place winner. Third place was won by Glenn Willis. Bob Anderson took the lead in the Novice division but missed an important tum. It was then Larry Escamilla, despite his little side tour through the pits who came through to take first place. Bob Alloy and Larry Caldron had a battle going on as they exchanged second place positions several times. Bob finally came through to finish second and even took the marking flags with him.
