HosPITal STOP: Kathy Holman of
Houston, TX received a compression
fracture of a vertebra in her back at
the Lake Conroe motocross on Feb. 3.
Recently granted a Pro license, she
was in the first turn of the 250cc Pro
race (won by Californian Mike Tripes)
when she went down and sustained the
injury. The initial prognosis indicates
that she will only have to wear a back
brace for a while. Naturally it will set
back her racing plans and she is sure to
appreciate cards sent to her at 419
Kickerillo, Houston, TX 77079.

David Gerig would be most grateful to
have his new 1980 Husky 590 CR
returned. It was taken from the line at
Saddleback on Saturday, Feb. 2 and
bean frame I MN 0001672 and motor
I 20800254. About the only feature
that would distinguish is from another
stock 1980 590 is the special Ash pipe,
which he'd especially like back.
David's sponsor, Alba Honda in
Encinit~, is putting up a reward so
contact Tim Daily there (714/456·
9771) if you have any info on the stolen
scoot. David did want to thank the
Saddleback Park folks who spent
several hours helping him look for his
bike.
