On lap three Wood bailed off and down to fifth spot as Kawasaki factory test rider Goat Breker plowed his KX 420 Uni-Trak into second ahead of Tim Locey and Brian Davis. Wood would displace Davis for fourth place at the end of the moto as Staten collected an undisputed win ahead of Sreker and Locey. Moto two was once again a Rex Staten romp, this time from the starting line to the checkered flag.
