On a fine winter's day at COR,
the racers put on a good show
performing before appreciative
spectators with Trey Jorski

taking his Kawasaki to a pair of Expert
wins.
The Mini Mini class lined up first.

Shumate (Yam) shot out front with
Shean Mooney (Yam) in second.
Mooney slipped back to fourth while
Ron Ainsworth (Yam) moved up to
cam second with Mooney (Yam)
finishing third. Shumate led all the
way in the second moto with Mooney
passing Ainsworth to grab second.
The l25cc AmatCUlS took off amidst
much clashing and banging around.
Lance Crawford (Yam) refused to give
up his lead as the battle for positions
started. Todd Smith (Kaw) hung in for
second. Danny Chrismer (Suz), riding
in third, had problems that let Mark
Suggs (Yam) take over. In a tight
battle for fourth, Nate Britt (Yam).
Damcn Dotson (Suz) and Brad Nance
(Yam) rode knobby to knobby and
WFOI Brin eventually broke away and
passed Suggs to finish third with
Nance fifth and Dotson sixth. In the
second moto. Smith rode first to the
checkers. Christne.r held second until
the last lap when Suggs got around
with Dotson taking fourth.
A smiling Trey jorski accepted the
purse for first in both the 125cc &
250cc Expert classes. He started
quickly in each moto and stretched his
lead enough to "take it a little easier" in
the late stages of the race.
