Honda lent the hot new CR80R Elsinore to three young
racers in Southern California.
But there wasn't time to dial it in. Or tune the suspension. Or even practice very much.
So we didn't expect much the first time out. Just a nice
grueling test ride.
Scott Hewett promptly won the Pro Class in the DeAnza
MX. His little brother Todd won the Intermediate. And Gary
Delagata screamed in first at the Corona MX, Beginner Class.

Here's to you- Scot t, Todd and Gary.
You may be too young to celebrate with
champagne. But nobody said a racer
had to be old enough to win.
