Jennings was really dancing his Honda across the rough sections as he opened up a big lead over Staten. Staten's bike began to slow again, and Karsmakers charged into second and slowly started to catch Jennings. Staten's bike finally quit in a cloud of smoke: .. ,.,. the frame leaked the oil and then the rod blew, .. Lunde finished fourth for the moto and fourth overall.
