Frank Marlin beat out Jim Pettit for 125cc Novice honors while Rick Garcia took on and beat Chet Patterson in the 250cc Novice. Steve Martin and Bobby Nelson diced for the Junior checkered with Martin getting the nod, while Day had little competition for the 250cc Expert win over Mark Key and Billy Scott on the S&S Yamaha, Chuck Lozier bested the S60cc Novice bunch on the H&S Bultaco while Beau Marciel continues to win whatever he comes up against on his TM 400, Jon Teraji took second on a similarly old BSA victim.
