Henry Polley surprised everybody in the 500cc class with a first place win. At the last climb he announced that his winning 500cc SC Yamaha had been stolen and then he turned up today with a bike that looked identical. Henry informed everyone that he bought it Saturday afternoon and had spent the better part of the evening extending it and doing all the other things that help a hillclimber stay on the ground. The bike was completely stock and on the first ride it looked like the other riders in that class did not, have to worry about him. On the second try, he found the line that his bike liked and topped the hill in II :97 seconds for the win. Lookout 500cc riders, Polley is back in the running. Results MINI: 1.
