"I had a little bit of problem in
Germany because I didn't get enough
practice time because it was raining.
They have a long straight - it's a real
fast track, and it's a stupid track, I
don't know, the Germans designed it
- and they run you down this long
straight. and then it's sixth gear - it's
probably 160 mph before you hit the
first chicane. They used to have a big
tum there so you would have been
going 160. probably 170 miles an hour
tum there with guard rails, and it kept
going. So. they put a chicane in it
which made it naturally slower
