MODOMAC INOUSTRIES, INC. • pRO,. ... races featuring factory stars, the pit crews win with the pit woofies and everyone goes home in the mid afternoon instead of late evening. Jim Gibson won, taking the top money in the 250cc Pro class over fellow Team Honda rider Warren Reid and Jeff Jennings on a Suzuki. Gibson won the first moto with Jennings coming in second and Reid finishing third. Reid got on the gas in the next moto to take the win in front of Gibson and Jennings but it was Gibson who won overall. Maieo rider Bill Hagen continued his winning ways in the Open Pro.c1ass taking both moto wins and leaving the runner-up spot to Can-Am rider Mark Mohs and third to Maico rider Roy Schwab. Tony Gomez was back to his old form as he ran away with the 125cc Pro class on his Suzuki. Suzuki riders Brian Maloney and Bobby McGregor finished 2-5 respectively. Allan Egbert headed up the new format Senior class. The Seniors ride with the Pros but are scored separtely and may ride any size machine they wish. Following Egbert across the finish line were Maico riders Phillip Lucci and Greg Smith. Up and coming Matt Zigeler rode his Suzuki to the 125cc Intermediate win. Zigeler is soon to turn Pro and should be 'worth watching as he climbs through the ranks. Eddie Glover rode his Kawas.aki in for second over Vaun Butler on a Suzuki. OPEN PRO: 1. Bill Hagen IMail; 2.
