T he lead was passed to H agen with Su zuki mounted Mark Ab ler taking over seco nd afte r workin g his way u p through t he pack from .Iast place . At the finish Hagen crossed first wit h Abl er second a nd Koch th ird. As the gat e d ropped for th e second round it was Jannings ta kin g th e ho lesh ot with Hagen seco nd a n d Richa rd in th ird . Again Ab ler was . working his wa y up thro ugh traffi c a nd he was right th ere to take over third aft er Rich a rd went d own in on e of th e corn ers. J annings pulled a com fort a ble lea d over th e rest of th e pack b ut the rea l ra ce was for second . .
