Kawasaki Motors Corporation, USA has introduced a new single-shock rear suspension system to the motocross world, and they don't want it confused with the other one. Now that the machine's been shown - at Hangtown last weekend they don't have to worry about it anymore. Now we can see that there's no comparison. The Uni-Trak is unique. It'll never be confused with anything else again. This year, the 1979 racing season, will be remembered as the year KMC, USA "returned" to racing. They've been there all along, sure. But not with the complete commitment in machinery, manpower and multi-yen that's present in '79. The Uni-Trak is part of that.proqrem. Kawasaki people here in the U.S. saw photos of the Uni-Trak last July, and of course, they've been using the original version of it on their .works 250cc road racer for a few years. Now it's here, in prototype form, and the design is likely to see production for the 1980 model year. It depends, to some extent. upon the results this season. With Brad lackey campaigning the 500cc version in Europe and a full team of talented riders on the U.S. circuit.Uni-Trak is looking more and more like a sure thing at Team Green dealerships.
