" Magoo" , Cantaloup i, Marshall , Las h and McKe n na. all way u p front , were really going for it . Brian Jodry ( Mai) was in on t he action while Marshall . Lash , McKenn a a nd Jodry all swapped places repeatedly. J odry's u lti mate fin ish was one p lace ou t of the money . O gi lvie put on a beautiful show of rid ing skill after crashing in the first lap and showed uP ' at main c hec k in 19th place, He managed to work a ll the wa y up to seventh before the checkered Ilag p ut an end to h is cli m b .
