Blackwell kept the lead but Stackable stuck to his rear fender for almost half the moto and finally got by. The Blackwell/ Stackable duo were so fast that they built a 35 second lead over the rest of the Experu in half a moto, Blackwell came off a jump one gear too high and blubbered the engine. allowing Stack to creep closer before Rick cleared it out. . Mike Kelly was riding a good race in third place until he began to fade on the fourth lap. He eventually pulled into the pits on the fifth lap for a DNF. Mike Walcott took over third , followed by Wade Woodall . Cris Dublin and M. Barry Ritchey. Stackable held on for the win by three seconds as Blackwell was slowed by lapped rider traffic . Walcott , Woodall, Ritchey and Dublin followed in third through sixth respectively, one and a half minutes behind Blackwell . Stackable led the second moto from the stan while Blackwell had trouble with a bad start; get-offs and traffic. After the start Srackable led the procession of Dublin, Woodall , Powers , Blackwell , Ritchey and Walcott. Blackwell wasn't happy that far back and he began a charge for Stackable, moving to third place on the first lap. He knew he had to get to Stack real fast before he got too much of a lead . so he was taking chances that really hurt him . Blackwell went down trying to pass Dublin and he dropped to sixth place before getting back up. Once again Blackwell began a charge. This .time he dove under t hi rd p lace ri de r W~all, wh~.killed his engine, giving ·Blu kweU thepa'SS. But Blackwe ll fell . coming out of the tum, and got up just in time for sixth place again. Woodall couldn't start his engine right off and he took over last place in disgust. By the time they came around on lap four , Blackwell had taken over second place but by this time, Stackable had a 27 second lead which Rick never ove rcame . The rest of the riders became spaced out and fin ished behind Stackable and Blackwell in the following order: Dub lin (Yam ), Russell Powers (Hon) , Mike Walcott (Yam), and Dell Cooper (Hon). Stackable won first overall (1· 1), Blackwell took second (2· 2) and Walcott (3· 5) took third. Results I Got Into Bill Walters' Pants••• •••SoShould You!
