T ak ing the second moto holeshot he
ran a perfect race leading th e rest
through the entire moto and he did it
with a flat front tire 'in the final laps .
Van Hook, running number two , was
right on his tail all the wa y but
couldn 't get by . Still , because of
Eropkin's fourth in the first rnoto he
went home onl y second overall while
Van Hook took home top pa y for the
da y. SCOtt Johnson finished third and
collected th e money for winning that
position .
Ross Learn wailed on with a perfect
1·1 overall win in the I25cc Pros.
Bobby Ryan fin ished second in both
but it was touch and go in th e second
moto when , running beh ind Steve
Childress, he had to open full bore just
to keep up . Seems Ryan's rings have
gone south and he's been wa iting three
weeks for new on es in from Japan .
Anywa y, Ryan got by Childress when
Childress got caugh t behind a lapped
ride r and R yan fin ished nu m ber two.
