When it was removed. the oil would thicken and lubricate the chain properly. ~ ll') ...-4 'GJ "" In theory. we've done the same with our chain oil, but now we use a high quality grease. The Hi-Point Chain Oil is specially formulated to go on thin to penetrate deep into pins and rollers. The carrier agent then evaporates, leaving a high strength film of grease deep in the pins and rollers. Nowyou can lube your chain properly without the mess of boiling. Harper, determined to keep it a perfect day , gave chase as if he were possessed and .the two .quickly pulled away from the pack. After spending most of the first moto getting warmed up, Haroutunian was ready to pull out the stops to win this one. He pulled off a slight five secon d lea d and seemed to be taking control of the moto, then, coming over a fast left hand jump, he lost it for the third time of the day. Harper quickly took advantage but his lead was short lived as the coil fell from his Maico bringing him to an abrupt halt. Haroutunian recovered, took the lead and held it to the finish. Tim Locey ' took over second after Harper's DNF, but was never a challenge to . Haroutunian. Overall went to Locey with a 3-2 score, Tracy Oswell ended up second with a 2-4 and third went to Jay Haroutunian with a 6-1. . Randy Johnston (Suz) holeshot the lead of the first 125cc Pro moto followed by John Nelson (Hanford Suz ) and Kevin Phillips. Nelson quickly disposed of Johnston to set the lead pace which was never matched. Phillips (Yam) was really putting on a hard charge to catch Nelson but he crashed and ended up with a possible broken collarbone. Second was then in the hands of Evan Marcus (Yam). Meanwhile, Tim Locey was pulling up through the pack turning the fastest lap times of the moto. It wasn't good enough though as he ended up third behind Marcus and Nelson took the easy win . Moto two 'was a race of a different color as Locey came on strong, breathing down Nelson's back for the lead . On lap three, Locey took command and won , the moto with ease . Nelson stayed in second with a comfortable lead over Marcus and was assured the overall for the day. Second went to Tim Locey and third to Evan Marcus with a 2-3 day. • .... .Distributed by: Hi-Poin t R acing Products 3709 W. Erie Ave..
