The 250cc Pro class was unreal with
36 riders at the gate for the start.
H arper (Mai) was able to pull the
holeshot but t he way Jeff Jennings
(fdai) was putting on h is charge,
Harper had to settle for second with
Jen nings in first and Crown Cycle rider
John Atwood (Mai) in third.
The second moto saw Donnie
Hansen (Shoemaker's Cycle Yam)
taking the lead with Harper in second
a n d A twood aga in in third. The
overall win went to H a r pe r with
second going to Hansen and third to
Atwood.
;rhe 125cc Pros again saw John
O 'Ma ra win back to back. Righ t from
the sian it was O 'Mar a (AI Baker Suz)
with the holeshot . T here was a strong
charge by Mike Brown in ' the first
moto but he was unable to take the
lead and had to settle for second.
The second moto again saw O 'Ma r a
taking command this tim e with Gary
Denton (Suzuki West Suz) hot on his
tail. Bu t again O 'Mara was able to
hold on for the win . The overall for
the day went to O 'Mara with second
going to Denton and third to T im
Locey.
