The obvious line up was sometimes a real problem . As mentioned before. Government Peak was as tough as usual. Some riders thought the speed was a little fast for traversing this pile of rocks. Off the peak the course worked its . way back toward the pits . Along t his sect ion several WFO rid ers got out of shape trying -to make up time. The course here was very deceiving. Lots of small gullies. then a sneaky deep one. The loop was 28 .3 miles and the finish line and the super finisher pins were a welcome sight. The clocks and mileages were right on, a few minor complaints were regis'tered, but were proved wrong. The course was superbly marked with a ton of ribbon and arrows. Most danger spots. save for a few , were well marked. Mike and Lynn and their ent ire ERA crew deserve a big pat on th e back for a job well don e . ~ 10 iaake your. .
