Sure it was hot, but I'm in shape and I'm going to stay in shape _ .in winning shape." Yamaha's Burgett had just , notched his third straight overall victory and launched himself into the 500cc lead over Honda's 14 Tommy Croft, 217 ยท207 , with a pair of moto wins that saw him quickly grab the front spot and lead every lap. Such was thehold that Burgett had on the field that each of his finishes in the inaugural AMA Mr . PiBB National MX at Atlanta International Raceway were nearly 25 seconds ahead of the second place rider. Dominance was the byword for Team Yamaha's Broc Glover as he dusted off the 125cc National class with precise fashion, winning each moto with a good 20 seconds on the field.
