Many three loop rid ers thought the th ird loop was not very challenging, but the reason for thi s was to test the riders on th eir timekeeping skills. The promoters of the event stated that ERA enduros ar e mainly for children . wives and riders who need a life-like situation to practice their timekeeping procedures. For Mike Taylor, his skills ar e sharp enough. The three loops totalled about 60 m iles with loop one being 13 miles and loop two . 16 miles. Besides th e usu al sandwashes and dry , dusty trails.
