An Eastern stad ium favorite. the new Goal Post
Jump requires precise accuracy in addition to
jumping skill and courage. The high speed
gained from Insanity Ridge is maintained through
the ultra highspeed berm so the rider has less
than a second to adjust his weight and machine to
clear both the uprights and the crossbar erected
in the middle of the gorge. (When initiated in
Atlanta. the first four riders failed to clear the
jump in practice and the goal posts had to be
modified)
