Eldo n Co pier (Suz) swiftly strea ked by and wen t checkered bou nd . The second heat erupted and Lec htenberg again vied for the ace posi tion . but his bi ke seized . Copier experienced a bad start and bit into a piece of Idaho soil in a wild attempt to gain a better pos itio n . The huge sand hill put many of the Pros out of shape with its steep slopes and monsterous whoops . and the lead constantly fluct uated . Gary Ra cca (Yam) slipped past the checks in first, but Mark Olberding (Suz) got t he high stakes with points. Racca racked up a bund le for second and Ken ny New (Ya m) dia led the t hird place number. Mini Pros zoomed off the line and Snell Johnson (Suz) too k the holeshot , Vic tor Parrish (Yam) jammed a j u mp wide open , passed the pack a nd snatc hed first.
