He look Noyce on lap five and closed on Mikkola a lap later . The IwO old rivals battled it OUI for seven la ps until , to the cheers of the crowd . DeCosler was through. • From then on Mikkola slip ped back. looking very sick .. He was passed ,first by Lackey. on his way up from eighth at the start , then Noyce and finally Ma lherbe lea ving the Flying Finn to finis h sixth. Steami ng up through the field .
