Bunch made his move on Murray , taking him on the insid e of the S-turns to finish th ird . The second moto again found Todd Brady out in front with Evers ole and Bunch running second and th ird . Brady started to stretch ou t his lead on the second and th ird place riders until all of a sudden he spun out , doing a perfect 360 0 , and whi le Brady was busy going around in circles and Eversole pausing long enough to let Bunch fly by them both to take over the lead. Bu nch held onto the first place spot all the way to the checkered flag to finish with a 3ยท1 to take the o ...... overa ll win . It was a wire -to-wire Kenny Campbell took back-to-back wins in USMRA's 100cc Novice class. the mov e almost immediately and passed Lumbattis on the first lap to settle briefly in third . It was very brief as Rawley was the next one to fa ll to the green ma chine of Silva . Rawl ey wasn 't ready to give in to Silva and fought back to recapture second as th e white flag came out. Silva closed th e gap but tim e ran out and he ha d to settle for third. Denton no t on ly took the win bu t the overall . Rawley'S second was enough to give him a fourth overa ll with Silva taking second and Jonny Clopton's 5-4 tall y good enough for third. " Rocket" Rex Staten (Yam) held class as he went two for two in th e Open Pros . Off behind Staten in t he first moto was Ty Richey with Brian Craze in third . Craze went two laps before he moved by Richey to take over second. Staten continued to widen the gap and Craze held off - Richey to the checkered. Sta ten again took the point in the second moto but this time Cr aze and Richey stayed m uch close r as they played follow the leader a ll the way home. Resul ts in Resu lts Section. Campbell, Bunch, Meeks team up at USMRA By Carol Campbell ELSINORE, CA , APR . 23 Harry's Cycle team riders Kenny Campbell, Bruce Bunch and Tracy Meeks gave their sponsor the best birthday present he 24 could wish for - first place trophies in each of their respective classes . Campbell (Yam) who rides in the 100cc Novice class really got his act together , but not without some stiff competition. As the gate dropped on the first moto, it was Cam pbell and Barry Eckess (Yam) a lmost side-by side but as they started into .the first turn it was Campbell who shut out Eckess to go into first. Tpe battle was on; Eckess tried every move he could thi nk of to get around Ca m pbell, but to no ava il. Campbell was able to hold on to the first place spot to take th e win with Eckess right behind him for second and Doug Mitchell finish ed in the third place spot.
