HANNON AND MUNYON 1-2 IN COYOTE DERBY NATIONAL ENDURO. Mike Hannon , riding a modified XL-350 Honda, dropped a scant eight points over the 150-mile course, taking his first overall victory of the season. His Honda teammate, Rick Munyon, rode a new Honda XL-250S, in modified form, to second overall and first in the 250 class. The event was held in the Red Mountain section of the California desert, widely known for its endless supply of loose rocks, treacherous hills and bike-crunching lava beds.
