If you ask 22 year old supercross star Jimmy Ellis about the season opener at the Kingdome, he would tell you it
was one hell of a tough race. The indoor course was covered with a thick topping of wet sand and silt which caused
even the best riders to crash , bog-down and seize engines. Jimmy's riding skill got him down the straights and through
