The Pee Wees were out in force, as Cha rlie Butcler made a clean sweep in the Stock class . Robby Vaughan had a double second , while Kevin Sanford finished third in the first moto.Kevin Heisers 4·3 ride gave him the third overall. Junior Cycle Junior Larry T urner finished the day with back . to back wins in the Modified class, while Ty Olson and Shanon Cofardone kept things hot in the second spot until Olson got the edge. Marty R ickard pulled away from the pack to win the first moto of the Stock Junior Cycle Juniors. Ricky Dumo had a three way ba ttle going with Bobby Hoffman and Chuck Simmons. Dumo got the advantage taking the inside of the loop for clear sailing down the straight. The second time, Mike McCoy took the honors with Simmons pressing down to the wire. Rickard sewed up third, giving him the overall. The American Mini cycle Associa tion goes to R acing World on Feb . 4 for th e next event. Results in Results Section . H usqva rnas, staked his claim at Indian Du nes by dominating the 250 and 500cc Pro classes in the American Motocross Enterprises ' $10,000 Sweepstakes MX Series Fent, In.the 250cc Pro race , he met heavy competition fro m Doug Nicol, Tracy Oswell and John Savitski . In the first moto, Nicol and H a l Strauss fought for several laps, tossing the lead back and forth between them . Strauss, in .. Goat Breker won the 250ccand Open Pros at the AM E Sweepstakes. trouble , once more relinquished ' the lead to Nic ol and fell back to sixth. Absolutely wild racing was' the rule throughout this 20·!ap moto with a field of over 25 riders . Breker worked his way into second with Oswell in thi rd and Savitski holding down fourth. The four top riders were charging deep into the turns side by sid e and clashing all around the track. Nicol finally lost command as Breker took over, bringing wit h him Savitski in second. Oswell was holding down third, and the positions remained unchanged to the end of the moto. The second time around , Nicol once mo re took control with Jack Keese's DC Suzuki running second and Oswell in third. Savitski and Breker were both moving up like greased lightning and stole the thunder out from under Nicol as he dropped back with mechanical d ifficulties.
