Moto two was a carbon copy of the first rnoto with Myers, J oice , and Waller also taking the overall in that order. Dan Turner (Kaw) took the immediate 250 lead with Brian Jodry (Oss) , Pat Wi lson (Hus), and Jim Lesniewski (Mai) trailing . Danny Chandler (KTM) got trapped by a poor start and was way back in the pack. Turner stretched out his lead. Jodry and Wilson were holding to their second and third positions, while Lesniewski dropped out with bike troubles. Chandler was running around sixth at the halfway point and moving up fastl He got by Wilson for third a few laps later and passed J od ry with two laps left in the rnoto wh ile Turner had an uncatchable lead. Jodry held third with Dan Waller (Suz) getting by Wilson late in the rnoto to take fourth . In moto two , Chandler got one of his usual good starts with Lesniewski a wheel behind. jodry, Wilso n, T urner, and Waller were right behind t he leaders. Chand ler an d Lesniewski were together lap after lap with Chandl er never estab lishi ng a sec ure lead. Turner slipped into third well be hind the leaders. Chandler took the win and the overall with Lesniewski right behind for second. Turner took third in the rnotoand second overall. .Jodrv, Waller, and Wilson finished fourth , fifth and sixth. Most everyone knows how important it is to get a good start in the 125 Expert crass. but missing the first turn? Apparently th ey were going so fast that they had no time to shut off for the tight first turn . Once everyone knew where the first tum was , they got off a fair start. Phil Minahan (Suz) took the lead with Da na Waxham (Suz) , Jim Lesniewski (Suz) and Rodney Greener (Suz) close behind. They were very close the first few laps then all of a sudden, no Minahan or Waxham. Waxham was challenging Minahan for the lead when they tangled in the back section. Minahan got up around 10th with Waxham taking a DNF for the day. Lesn iewski inherited the lead with Greener and Mike Marquez (Suz) dicing it for second. Marquez took over second with' Jeff Watts (Hus) and Rick Woodson (Suz) and Greener going for thi rd. Lesniewski had a safe lead by m o re 's end with Marquez second, Watts third , Woodson fourth , and Don Ferraro (Suz) ta king fifth from Greener after a poor start. Jerry Brown (Suz) holeshot the second mo to a ndled for one lap with Lesniewski taking over on lap two . Ferraro got a much better start and also got by Brow n on lap two . Lesniewski had a comfortable lead when the finish flag came out. Ferraro was also in a comfortable second with Brown holding off Woodson for third .
