Suddenly, Oswell was off the i, rack with bike problems, a tough t bO,rea k afte r su ch a beautiful ride. Hansen was also in trouble and out of fthe race. Oswell rejoined the race but '1 as set way back in th e pa ck. T he second time off the line , _oemaker took control with Oswell in second . Shoemaker wen t down and John Atwood moved in to sec ond with Oswell running third . Don Dixon (Ya m -Dixon Plating) was having a 'spectacu lar rid e. holding down fourth and holding off Zahrt . Magoo moved up in to the lead and Zahrt m oved up . :taking over , third as Oswell slid ou t. i~ agoo held on fir m a nd took t he lead ;in I. , IT 10" travel mods , - Dealer inquiries invited 00 righ t down to the end of the race with Zahrt and Atwood keeping ' th e heat on.
