Petrucci Set For KTM Move
D
anilo Petrucci is believed to have
agreed to terms to join the Red Bull
KTM MotoGP team in 2021, according
to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello
Sport, thus saving the Italian's MotoGP
career after being sacked by Ducati.
Petrucci's place at Ducati was taken
by Australian Jack Miller and he was re-
portedly offered a deal to replace Chaz
Davies in the Aruba.it Ducati WorldSBK
squad. After a factory visit to Austria
last week, Petrucci is believed to have
agreed to terms to replace the Repsol
Honda-bound Pol Espargaro, although
no deal has been officially confirmed
and is not expected to until September.
Espargaro's expected move to Rep-
sol Honda will likely see Alex Marquez
shifted to the LCR Honda team in place of Cal
Crutchlow. Petrucci will likely team up with South
African Brad Binder at Red Bull KTM. CN
