uke Video, the company
who've been the leaders
in European motorsport video
content for over 30 years,
have been revving up their
YouTube channel of late by
sharing little clips of races past
for a trip down memory lane.
The one that caught our
attention here was the 1952
Isle of Man Senior TT, won
by Irishman Reg Armstrong
after a race-long battle with
World Champion, Geoff
Duke. The video shows just
what bravery these old guys
had as they wring the necks
of their British singles around
the 37-mile TT course, and
certainly shows we've come
a very long way in terms of
safety equipment! CN
Desert Sled—A Fasthouse
Film of the Mint 400
T
he 2020 Mint 400 was a little
different this year as Ducati
teamed up with Fasthouse to
race the event on two Scrambler
Desert Sled machines.
Piloted by Jordan Graham and
Ricky Diaz, the bikes were built by
the same Spidergrips Ducati team
that competed at Pikes Peak with
Carlin Dunne and Codie Vahsholtz.
The team came away victorious
with Graham at the helm in the
Team Hooligan category, with Diaz
taking third. Sandwiched between
them was one Alexander Smith.
The footage of the race is
pretty epic, as the two Ducatis
rip along the Nevada desert. It's
a feel-good film, shot in beautiful
