KTM, Husqvarna Unveil Off-Road Models
The 2021 150 XC-W
gets a new piston.
K
TM and sister company
Husqvarna unveiled their 2021
line of off-road, or "enduro," mod-
els for 2021.
On KTM's side, this is their
XC-W two-strokes, XCF-W four-
strokes, and EXC dual-sport
bikes, and the big news here
is—there is little news. The non-
linkage off-road bikes in KTM's
fleet feature little changes—mostly
small refinements—from the
previous model year. The most
obvious is, of course, the new
graphics and coloring, but all of
them received updated WP Xplor
forks, which now feature an ex-
ternal preload (spring) adjuster.
The XC-W 150 TPI, however,
got a little extra. A new cast
piston replaces the forged piston
for improved durability while
keeping weight to a
minimum. The 500cc
four-strokes also get
a new shift locker that
KTM says provides increased
durability.
Husqvarna also unveiled its
line of 2021 FE and TE off-road
and dual-sport models. Most
notable changes are similar to
the KTMs, which includes a new
piston for the TE150i, updated
shift lockers for the FE501, and
new graphics for all! CN
KTM's 2021 line of off-
road bikes (non-linkage)
see few changes, but they
do get updated WP Xplor
forks with new external
preload adjuster.
