Cran e had a go of it in the 125 motos , gelling hi s heaviest competition from Donnie Camaloupi (Ya m ). Mu ch o f the race for the first position wa s done sid e by side especially in th e sec ond rnoro which would d"cid.. the o ve ra ll winner. Cam al oupi wa s s" cond to Crane in both rounds, Mik" Hersman (Hus) lOok both wins in the 250 Expert race. In th e first moto he sta rted out d icing with J ohn Minor (SUl) for a whil" and built a good lead while Cram' was working his way up Ihrough the r"st of th" pack . All the wa y through Ih e first Open Expe rt m olO Mik e Pr eSIOn ( KTM) had th e lead but was fo llo wed closel y by Georg.. Cheath am ( B u s) and I:ed Rogers (KTM ) wh o took turns running secon d a s th ey a lso lOok turns crash ing, Once Rogers stayed upright on th e bike he secured the second position. Preston again lOok the lead in the s..cond molO with Rogers behind him and app lied pressure. PresIOn then got squirrelly and Rogers lOok over , shortly afterwards Preston got off hard and found himself running las!. Then Rogers slid out and the new leader was Mike Miller (Mai). Rogers was on the gas gaining ground fast and finally slipped by Miller to have the rest of the race to himself with Miller staying second asJim Moe took third , • Results in Results Section.
