According to club president , Steve Hart , a last-minute change had to be made as the course the club intended to use still had a lot of snow on it. The changes that wer e made didn't bother anyon e as not one complaint was heard at th e final check table. Even the three riders who missed a check a nd were disqualified d idn't complain . Two courses wer e em p loyed. an eas y(?) and a hard. The eas y was for the benefit of the family riders, of which there were many. Jordan Holt and Steve Tracewell, both aged nine , enjoyed the course so much they rode it a second time even though the second time around did not count. Riding the course a second time was done by quite a few. When you give an Oregon biker weather like th is they take advantage of it. This is not to say there was not an abundance of mud , there was! One mud hol e was at least ha lf a bi ke high and that was on the combina tion part of the easy/ ha rd cou re . That'll ge t to a rider th e ea rly part of the season . We talked about the youngest riders, well there were two riders at the other end of th e age scale 65 + , so you can see the run pulled all ages and that's what makes a poker run so great.
