Hann ah won the Saturday nig h t Super cross in a quagmire of mud that left co nt enders Kent Howerton a nd Jim Pom eroy st uc k up to th eir eyeb ro ws in Texas adobe as rai n poured in through th e op en roof. Condition s had become so bad by th e time the evening's racing ended that Sunday afternoon's clash on th e stadium floor had to be cancelled.
