Keith Williamson of Pomona had two moto wins going into the final round but a sixth in t he final put him down 'to second ove rall . behind Sm it h 's 2-2-1. H em e t's cause was fu rt her abetted by a serious ( no n -exisren t. actually) la ck of competition in the 175 Novice Class. Only last week Schreiber raised eyebrows all over Europe by tak ing fifth place in his very firs' World Ch ampionship event. FIVE Bultaco riders (all from Auburn Motorsports, Auburn , Wash.) received first place awards. The winners not only . displayed their own talents, but also the versatility of the Bultaco motorcycle. Lance Jones, one of onl y two juniors in the final , handily defeated the start studded field . Future race reports on Jones ma y be restricted to his losing, since it appears that it will be bigger news. March 6. 1977 Amateur motocross stars, Troy Bradshaw and Scott Edelstein, BULLed their way , to victory in their first appearance on 1977 MK-lO Pursangs. Their results after six motos were six victories. Both riders were claimed to have said that the only problem with the MK-10 was that it made the competition look too inferior. Too bad , guys.
