Lee Voss (Suz) put a 3· 1 on the sco re ca rd for first overa ll in 125 Pro. Pu ya llu p 's 0 1' Fa vorite Buck Murphy (Ha n) was out on the Trans AMA course for his first race since J a n . 9 when he got of f just before the h ai rpin tum - and spent six hou rs ge tt ing his nose put back together . The full field of 125 racers put ou t som e of the best motocross in the Nort hwest and incl uded first mota money win ner Flyin' Ed Da vis (D ·G Han) from T acoma and series lea der Canadian La rry Mac Kenzie (Ya m) the Super Ma c himself. Dallas Ny blod (Ha n). on his second mota run got the hol eshot and kept that lead until his rear wheel picked up a TOW of banners on the new stretch of course just past Rainier Jump. Murphy grabbed a bit of the streamer trying to pass, then just after an off-camber tum - after Murphy held up to avo id the fla gs Nyblod's wheel gobbled u p the twen ty foot dragon. KING - TV from Seattle gave the sport of motocross a big boost on • January Z3 when AI Wallace presented Puyallup Racing on his " How Come" evening program.
