Faulty information was also published in a UEA enduro report in the .sarne issue , written by Campbell , who was confused by the large number of event courses ribboned in the area, and by playriders running backwards on the enduro course. eRe president deniesthat pre-marked .c ou r se crossed Hare Scrambles LONG BEACH , CAL. , J AN . 28 Jerry McNeal , President of the California Racing Clu b (CRC) today denied that his enduro course markings were responsible for taking riders off the 0-37 Desert Ra ts Hare Scrambles course on January 16. "T hey m ight have gotten onto our course. but I doubt it ," said McNeal. "T here just wasn't that much ribbon up yet. " According to McNeal, the course for the CRC Barbender Enduro scheduled for January 23 was partially ribboned on January 16. However, McNeal said that the United Racing Association (URA) Frosty Cactus enduro was still fully marked, despite the cancellation of the event the previous weekend , January 9, All three courses in question URA , CRC , and 0·37 used similarly-colored ribbon , pink or fluorescent red . In addition , McNeal sa id that riders from his Janua ry 23 enduro got off on a fou rth course. that being marked for the January 30 Desert MC Hare and Ho und .
