NOV . 19 The Big Schools hit the Corona Motocross with North, Upland , Pacific and Alta Lorna on hand. North defending its championship for th e fourth year proved why the riders are number one as they were two-to-one in the win column over second place Upland . North's Frank Seinturier and Joe Bueno had a wild one in the 125cc Novice class and the guy that caused all the excitement was Kent Boles of Up land . Kent did absolutely rotten the first moto, but he more than made up for it the next two as he collected firsts . Unfortunately that first moto did him in and he had to settle for second behind Frank. Joe Bueno was third. Jim Lawson was a big pan of North's win as he picked up two. His first was the I25cc Senior which he took with a perfect score from Upland riders Greg Sheets and Tim Hoover .
